Campus gigs for shows like this make me nervous.

Yup, any gig with acoustic guitars that's on a campus makes me cringe.

Acoustic sets are not made for college venues.

I wish I could go to the Atlanta show. That's where I'm from originally. That venue is gorgeous! I've begged my friend to take a photo of the marquee for me. There's easy access to the stage door too

I'll be on pins and needles waiting to hear that report because I want to know what Georgia jokes they make. If they don't reference Charlie Daniels or the B-52s I may break up with both of them.

[size=100:wpejyxyw]Well, we all went to the Flight of the Conchords last night. Was pretty awesome. After the show, we waited by the bus, or at least Brooke did, until they came out. Well the time came, I told Jemaine to Vogue... so, we have a historical moment of time captured on digi-film. Heh, Jemaine and my sister voguing " title="" border="0"/>

My sister just came into the room and said that Nigel remembered us! He remembered meeting Travis last night and when he saw Travis' brother at the show he said to tell us all hi. Travis and his brother look a-lot alike. Tyler had told Nigel about the Holy Land experience and he said that as soon at they got on the bus last night they looked videos up online about it. Funny thing is, originally the people at the show tonight, in Orlando, were told the Conchords weren't coming out to sign autographs and Travis' brother was totally bummed... well... he got his moment, and then some! I really think that moment was brought to us by Tyler, after all... when all the ohemgee-it's-Bret-and-Jamaine commotion was going, he was the one standing over there... randomly talking to Nigel... who no one really cared about since he's "
new"

Just got home, was absolutely amazing...fantastic show!

Yes there were frat boys yelling out song suggestions and yelling "
I love you (insert name here) but the guys definitely kept control of the stage and show. If they were irritated or frustrated they didn't show it.

What I enjoyed the most was that the guys kept cracking each other up. They were laughing and just having a great time which made it even more enjoyable for the audience too.

After the show - waited about 1hr 45 mins then they came out. Of course, during the waiting a security guard kept telling us 'they need to get going, they're not going to sign anything or take any pics so you guys may as well leave.' That got rid of about 30 peeps total. About 125 or so stuck it out and waited.

Nigel and Mel came out first and started working their way down the line, then Jemaine and Bret came out. Everyone was super nice, they signed anything and everything and posed for pictures. They kept thanking us for coming to the show - and we kept thanking them too. It was great to get pics w/everyone. I can't figure out how to add them to this post but if you want to see them just let me know - they're just the standard 'smile' photos w/Nigel, Mel, Jemaine and Bret.

All in all it was an unforgettable night - and I hope everyone who goes to their shows has as much fun as I did.

Thanks so much for the recap! It's sounds like you had a really great time, and I'm glad that the guys seemed to be enjoying themselves also.
