I've been meaning to ask this- and what an opportune moment!
How did you frame your Birmingham poster? I was a little surprised when I put mine in a 18 x 24 frame and saw that it was too small. I measured it and I think all my UK posters are 16 1/2 by 22 1/2.
I know you can custom frame it, but that cost moneys. :-/ I was thinking of just using a 18 x 24 frame and just somehow making it ~fancy~.

i just picked up a pre-made 18X24 frame at Michael's (local craft/art store chain). They look lovely in the frame, and the posters fit snugly.
i could take a picture if you're curious.
now i've got to take down the map of middle earth, and replace it with more conchords posters (poor nathan ;

I put all my UK posters in 18x24 frames. Just center your poster on top on some white or cream colored paper- it'll look amazing! My Berkeley and Hollywood posters look great in my Michael's poster frames as well! " title="" border="0"/> (OMG, Target poster frames- NEVER AGAIN. )
But I really want to frame my smaller Birmingham poster, but its smaller than 18 X 24, and Michael's next size down is 16 X 20 I believe. I was thinking of just getting the 18 X 24 and centering it as best as possible against black or white...
ETA: Just read your post Sara, will do!

that's exactly what i did;
i was also surprised to find that it was slightly smaller than the frame, even though the artist's website quoted the size as 18x24. the edges of the "
this is a frame"
picture in poster frame that i got were black, so i just kept that in there and centered the poster over that i think it looks really nice with a black border around the white boarder*, though
seriously though, i had to show them off to my roommate and her bf because i love them so much, even though they probably think i'm a little bit i can't wait to hang them on my wall

The Las Vegas poster reminds me of a Kurt Vonnegut quote. I wish I could remember which book it's from ... I'd post it.
The man opens the cage to free his bird, but the bird chooses to stay inside. The man realizes this decision gives the bird something to continue to hope for.
Something like that ... the poignancy moved me.

... Then he thought about what Bill himself might want. It was easy to guess. "
Bill,"
he said, "
I like you so much, and I am such a big shot in the Universe, that I will make your three biggest wishes come true."
He opened the door of the cage, something Bill couldn't have done in a thousand years.
Bill flew over to a windowsill. He put his little shoulder against the glass. There was just on layer of glass between Bill and the great out-of-doors. Although Trout was in the storm window business, he had no storm windows on his own abode.
"
Your second wish is about to come true,"
said Trout, and he again did something which Bill could never have done. He opened the window. But the opening of the window was such an alarming business to the parakeet that he flew back to his cage and hopped inside.
Trout closed the door of the cage and latched it. "
That's the most intelligent use of three wishes I ever heard of,"
he told the bird. "
You made sure you'd still have something worth wishing for--to get out of the cage."

Ok, I just framed my signed Birmingham poster, so now it has a black boarder to fill the 18 X 24 frame, and the frame itself has a think silver boarder...
Oh my god you guys, its the sexiest thing I've ever seen.

Why are you doing this to me!
I'm really tempted to buy both posters, the Birmingham and Las Vegas ones but $70 for two pieces of paper ( ) is really a lot of money!
I had my London 16th and Manchester 11th framed. I ordered the frames and the price is similar to the regular frames here. I'll post the photos when I hang them on the wall. I'll have to buy a house or at least an apartment to put the rest of my posters on the walls .

^^ That poster goes on sale tomorrow!
The posters are official and in a limited edition of 80. They are five color, hand screen printed, on 100 lb Steel Gray French Cover Paper. All posters are hand signed and numbered.
These Flight of the Conchords posters are special from other posters I have done. ALL the costumes and props can be cut out and fitted onto their respective figures like a paper doll. this is great for the FOTC fan who is hands on. In order to hold everything together, I suggest using adhesive glue dots, the acid free variety that allows for re-use and repositioning, which can be purchased at most hobby/stationary stores.
It’s really hard to cut all these shapes out, so for an additional $12, I can ship you a poster that has the shapes perforated (cut in dotted lines, so it’s not fully cut out and stays in the poster), so you can just punch them out or keep it as a poster. There will be an option at my online store for the cut version. The cut version will only be available for a week and will be limited to 20 orders. Cut and uncut versions can be combined into one order. For cut versions, please allow 2 weeks for shipping.

The cut versions are already sold out. The print is amazing! And the edges of the figures are even and precise!

I'm surprised, because the print on my poster is uneven :-[. When I got it, I thought it's how it's supposed to be :-/

I wonder if they simply requested for him to be included, or if they had any preference how (Fligel ). And then I wonder if they sent DKNG a picture? The possibilities just get more and more adorable.
Also, I really like their versions of the Femident costumes. " title="" border="0"/>
Anyway, as predicted, I've been regretting not buying this at the show where it was $30. :-\

this is awesome!!! what caught my eye:
Danny Askar handled the printing for this poster and it was no small feat considering that he would be printing all 5 colors and 300 posters by hand.
