front row?? woooo!!
I somehow got crappy tickets to DC and I'm not sure how. I bought my philly tickets first, but I was still on there just a minute or two after 10am.

5th row right side I think. I'm coming with two friends of mine. I bought the tickets while at work today and I was so excited I couldn't get any work done all morning!

Yay for good seats! Ticketmaster was really slow when I was trying to buy, so I guess that's why I got the bad seats. It's in the tier section way in the back. I almost didn't buy, but I didn't want to be greedy either. Now I just need to make the decision of whether I buy new tickets if they release better seats on Friday. Do you think the show will sell out?

My husband is a big fan too. Not as obsessive as me, but he's not in love with Bret.

I got on right at 10 a.m. yesterday and was originally told it would be a 1 minute wait and the site kept cycling around and not doing anything, so I refreshed and went through it again. I was told it would be 6 minutes, then after that (I don't think it was actually 6 minutes) it told me no tickets were available or some such foolishness. I'm persistent, and like Mel, I always get what I want (ha!) so I tried again and got these seats. I wondered what seats I would have gotten had I just hung on the first time, but 5th row ain't bad at all, so I'm happy.nikki78 wrote:talkkiwitome wrote:5th row right side I think. So this is way early for my question, but I wanted to ask now while I had it on my mind (especially since time is going so fast). For those who don't live in DC, how are you getting to the show? Metro? Driving? Usually I take the Metro to DC, but now that I'm dealing with babysitter time constraints, I'm thinking I might be better off driving... unless parking would be a nightmare. ???

I'm going to Metro and take the risk that we'll be there past midnight. I never drive in DC. It scares me.

Ditto that! I wouldn't hate driving in DC so much if there wasn't ALWAYS construction and DC drivers weren't such asshats.

No actual time limit, but since we are asking a friend who has to be to work the next morning, I don't want to be a jerk and stroll in much past midnight (so no meet and greet for me :'(). Metro might be faster on the way there, but driving will probably be faster on the way home.
I've driven to DC before to go to 9:30 Club and the zoo, but Constitution Hall is probably a bit trickier with location/parking though.
Oh... decisions, decisions. Good thing I still have time to make up my mind.

I could make a crack about MD drivers, but.... " title="" border="0"/>
Seriously though I think I would only drive in DC if my or someone else's life depended on it.

Alright, I may be driving too. I was going to take the red line to Farragut North, but that station closes @ 10pm. Too risky.

yeah... its pretty risky!
some reviews from yelp!
shall we all meet up before the show at some point... and for those staying after as well...
source:Metered street parking is available but limited.
There are parking garages located in the area on New York and Pennsylvania Avenues, and 17th and 18th Streets.
