[size=100:sd8kf853]EMPSFM: Just got home from Flight of The Conchords. By far the funniest live show I have ever seen. Played all the hits and some rarities.

My concerns are largely humor-based.


But I have to say, the thought of Bret showing any amount of skin (and the possibility of him doing this anywhere in my proximity) brings me extremely close to not caring about that at all.

I am kinda worn out after being sick as a dog all day and then getting back late from the Seattle show. I sent some text updates, and will try to read them off my phone and post them here. Here are my impressions:

Seattle is a REALLY reserved town and it is nothing against the guys that they weren't crazy wild.

Arj was pretty funny and had people laughing pretty hard. Some people didn't know who he was, so it was good that Jemaine introduced him as Dave from the show. People were like, oh yeah. Arj finished and introduced the guys.

Set List:
1 - Too Many Dicks
2 - Hurt Feelings (Bret forgot a verse and was funny to admit it)
3 - Stana (The more I hear this the more I love it)
4 - Most Beautiful Girl
5 - Choir of Ex-Girlfriends (This one gave me goosebumps)
--Nigel then comes on stage--
6 - Mutha 'Uckers
7 - Jenny
8 - Freaky
9 - I'm Not Crying
10 - Foux Du Fafa
11 - Business Time (Crowd went WILD)
12 - Busdriver Song (Again with the goosebumps)
13 - REQUEST: Epileptic Dogs
(They took this request after already settling into another song arangement on stage, so I thought that was AWESOME)
14 - Freebird (I at first didn't hear the request for this, but then found out someone had yelled it. Their version for smack full of banter and added lyrics, and it was GREAT. Jemaine was funny as hell!!!)
15 - If you're into it
16 - I don't remember the name, but the one with "
Brabara"

17 - Sugarlumps (Slow jam style!!! There was a lot of grinding on the edge of the stage so some Flighties are going to pull a Chicken Lady in SLC " title="" border="0"/>)
18 - ENCORE: Demon Woman (Golden sex pants on Jemaine, Zebra tights on Bret, 'ucking awesome silver pants shining rainbow colors on Nigel. Jemain threw blue shimmery g-string into the audience)

Other Things:

1 - I didn't see Bret shirtless, but think this may have been when he was on the stage for the grinding? I couldn't see too much then

2 - Bret had a cute moment when his mini glam guitar came unplugged and he had to struggle a bit to get it back for the song

3 - There was some really funny banter where Jemaine asked for the women of Seattle to seek Nigel out on the streets to have six with him. Bret set this goal at 1000 lays by the end of the 3 days here There were some women in the balcony that were REALLY excited for this


There was a point during Mutha Uckers where the guys wanted audience participation (lights on and mics held out) and all they got was crickets, pretty much. People here talk a lot and I think were scared a little to chime in due to people writing up requests to sit there and be quiet. I think that is sad and I hope tomorrow will be better for participation After this happened, Jemaine gave a BIG shout out to the Nashville crowd for being the best *looks at Sam who did this all on her own probably*


Outside the show, people were mainly talking about the Freebird banter (Jemaine was hillarious!!!) and whether the Freebird and Epileptic Dogs hecklers people were plants.

There may be more, but I am sick and need to get to bed rather that stay up later online.
