Finally caught up with this thread.

Here are my random replies to random comments:

Eddie, I was right there with you guys til the end - I was with a group of girls. It took me awhile to process the obvious ie: the guys were truly gone. Couldn't believe it. Jemaine missed my good hair day. :'(

No fire alarms went off at the 6pm show. When we arrived the fire trucks were already there and the LN dude told us that if they went off during the show that we didn't necessarily need to leave. ??? and apologized for the mass confusion we all encountered in trying to enter the venue.

Can't imagine that someone didn't hear the loud dude who yelled out in the so quiet you could hear a pindrop room "

FYI IMHO these audiences were way beyond mellow. It was almost eerie how unresponsive they were at times. Majorly dudl-ly -just sayin'.

Nigel told us he'd be heading to NYC for a few weeks before heading home and that the WIUO has tentative plans for a US tour next year.

actually i thought the crowd was okay. i was so scared they'd be like the crowds last year, so i was very happy that it wasn't too nuts.

kinda sad how we all thought they skipped the meet and greet last year because the crowds at the shows turned them off when this year they skipped us again and the crowd was totally chil.

Upon listening to the audio from the shows the crowd seems more animated than I remember. Yet everyone I went with (all of whom had been to other shows this tour as I had) found this crowd unenthusiastic by comparison. I'm sure if I had nothing to compare it to I wouldn't have come away with this impression but I couldn't help but compare.

Why would the bay area be a bad location though? I think it's just bad luck really. There's no other way to explain it. I mean, everyone thought they'd do a meet and greet for the final show. I'm still pretty shocked that they didn't.

It's not that the Bay Area in general is a bad location. It's that they always start the tour on the East coast and by the time they hit the west coast they are usually burnt out and do less Meet and Greets.
