Kristen and Eugene interview each other!

Flight of the Conchords"
- here they are at New York's Grand Central Station interviewing each other before their gig at Boston's Wilbur Theatre on June 27th.

Oh, and the butler served us vegetable lo mein. I didn't eat it, but Eugene was chowing down haha!

If I hadn't been overcome with stage fright, I would have swiped the script. hehe

Overall, the show was hysterical [even though one of the people who worked with the theater told me that I got more laughs than they did...wut?]

Kristen and Eugene came out together and read a couple of "
Lost Scenes"
from FOTC between Eugene and Mel and bantered. Then Kristen did her act, which was a lot of the same stuff she did on her Comedy Central special and when she opened for FOTC with obviously some new stuff thrown in. But she's adorable and I think she's hysterical.

Eugene's was like, a multi media experience. He played some videos he made on his computer, did a power point presentation, talked about an experience he had getting a traffic ticket in Montreal [and then writing an angry letter back in response] and then handed out hand made Father's Day cards.

Then Kristen came out and said that there was some drama back stage because the sound feed from the wireless microphones somehow was getting sent over to the theater next door...which just so happened to be the touring production of A Color Purple. LOL!

Then they made everyone in the audience stand up, they read a bunch of statements and if they were true for anyone in the audience, we had to sit down. That's when I was the last one standing and got to go up on stage!


If I had been less of a tool, I would have tried to stick around and try to get them to autograph the script from the skit or something. I got super nervous the minute they handed me a mic!

They asked me what I did for work and I was trying to say "
I'm from Massachusetts, and therefore I'm out of a job..."
but they cut me off the minute i said "
Massachusetts"
and were like "
that's not what we asked you!!"
but then I got to clarify, they asked me what my old job was, and I told them I was a concierge, but did it virtually, and Kristen goes, "
Well, Anna, I think you're better than that and maybe someday you'll get a job as a concierge at a real hotel!"
She also said she liked my name. Aww! She seems so sweet!



So yeah, that's my little 15 minutes of fame story. haha

Hmm, from what I remember, the statements were:

Sit down if you're wearing shorts,
Wearing a skirt
Hate your parents (!!)
Hooked up with someone in the bathroom on a first date (!!!)
---like one or two more---
Hate math

Then it was me on the floor level and then someone in the balcony and Eugene looks up and goes "
sit down if you're wearing a white sweater..."
