Since I bought this DVD so that I could make caps to post here and on timeforbusiness, I'm breaking my "
no more Jemaine pictures"
rule and posting anyways. I made quite a few caps, so I hope you guys enjoy them. Fizz is a cute little short film that Jemaine did in 1999.

In the second to last cap, Jemaine is making a "
come on"
gesture with his head. It doesn't cap well, but it's very cute.


You can't really tell, but in this last shot all of the appliances in Jemaine's apartment are moving around on their own. :#aziz#:

Can this DVD still be purchased somewhere? WANT WANT WANT. It is so adorable!

I have always wanted to start a thread for this film ever since the MB began but I've always struggled to find much about it... nothing that I thought was worth posting. I'm so happy to know that it can be purchased on DVD.

ALSO: I think I read somewhere that Jemaine doesn't actually speak in this, that there is no actual dialogue... ?

Um...neither really. It's just sort of a short and sweet little friendship story. It's fun. I think it's my favorite non-Conchords thing that Jemaine has done.

I was wondering about that! From the pictures, it doesn't look like there really was much opportunity for dialogue. I mean, who talks to coke machines??

this is fantastic! it definitely seems like a parody of thrillers to me. those uncanny vending machines can be quite a handful... good thing Jemaine has such lovely hands ;
)

oh, and i can't say i'm surprised to see electronic devices being turned on (tee hee) by jemaine's overwhelming charisma.

In my head I keep expecting to see Hugo Weaving stepping off the train with his suit and sunglasses flawlessly in place, striding up to Jemaine and snarling "
GOODBYE, MR. CLEMENT"
before emptying several ammo clips at him.
