Hi there!

I'm Jessica.
I have been called every name under the sun, but some of my favourites are Jess, Jessy, Messy Jessy, Yecka, Yeck, Yessikita, Astro-Girl, Trevor, You with the Camera, Spud, Tiger, Missy, Mel, Ukulady and Lady.
You may call me whatever you wish.
And yes, I do look around when somebody shouts "

I am from "
The Land Down Under"
, the place where tourists are abducted, dingo's eat babies, everybody is tanned and beautiful, kangaroos roam the street, everybody is drunk, it never rains, everybody eats Vegemite, everybody says 'g'day' and 'crikey', the toilet flushes the other way, we all throw shrimps on the barbie, we all play digeridoo and we all hunt crocodles.

Allegedly.
Actually, none of that is true. But the tourism board wants you all to think otherwise. Bar the being abducted thing.. they like to forget about that. As Lara Bingle says, "
Where the bloody hell are you?!"


I am OBSESSED with photography (I own five cameras.. two are professional, one semi-professional, the rest just plain old digital), coloured tights (I'm sure I have every colour imaginable), cookie cutters, tea pots (and all fancy things that go with them), tea parties, dress-ups, most kinds of music (especially new indie-pop, old trashy eighties stuff and Australian music) and putting things in (brackets).

I also love photoshopping peoples heads onto other peoples bodies, Facebook stalking, singing, attempting to play the Ukuklele, writing music, stand up comedy and a little kiwi band called Flight of the Conchords.

I have a job. A career, some would say.
I'm an early childhood teacher. I teach the littlies of Australia the foundations of life.. and play in the sandpit and watch the Wiggles all day (That new yellow one makes my heart skip a beat).

And all before I've even turned the big 2 - 0 (I'm 19).

And I enjoy writing too. Stories, poetry, letters of complaint.. I tend to go off on a tangent and lose people a quater of the way through. So, if you're still reading this, that's a few minutes of your life that you will NEVER get back.

Ahh! It's great to find another Sydney fan! It also explains why you're on here at the same time as me.

Oh, yes! We'd have to be careful to not make too much noise when we make our way to our front roc centre seats though. Wouldn't want to draw attention to ourselves...

And I was so happy I got the first question in the pop quiz right, I completely missed the rest of your last comment! I'm from the western suburbs.. Daggy I know, but I am planning on moving to the inner west area soon.
And Huzzah! Somebody up there *points* must have heard your prayers and mine and said "
