Arj at the Boosh Festival!

I have just heard that Arj is appearing at the Mighty Boosh Festival at the Hop Farm in Kent, UK on 5th July and I'm going there!!! my two obsessions are melting into one pretty amazing day.

Still don't know what I will be wearing for the festival - a lot of the 'modwolves' are dressing as boosh characters! maybe it should be a boosh/FOTC combo - that will confuse everybody! xx

LoL yeah!! Wear a boosh costume but have the shirt say Flighty Cecilia on it lol...make one of the Boosh Characters a fan of FOTC...say its an episode you made up in your head lol

Wow Cecilia, I am so jealous. If you were here, I'd have to scratch your eyes out or somethin'. Could you pick me up a trumpet sock while you're there?!! Velvet Onion tent, Gary Numan, too funny. And when you're done with Julian, would you crate him up and ship him over here (Southern California)? Thanks

Once julian puts me in his Barratt's Barrow and wheels me off to Yorkshire, I'm afraid he won't be coming over to Southern California!! i could parcel up Old Gregg for you if you like - he's got a wedding dress he still hasn't used ;
) What colour trumpet sock would you like? a muted beige or perhaps a tasteful muffin? xx

Well, I failed miserably in my first flighty mission i'm afraid. I had pole position in the comedy tent for the first two acts but then had to go to the monkey hell stage to see Robots in Disguise. I left 15 mins to get back in time to se Arj in the Velvet Onion comedy tent but unfortunately the security guards were making everyone queue to get back in. arggggggh!! I managed to get to the out side of the tent in time to see the last five minutes but i was stuck behind the Betamax Bandit and a Yeti so i couldn't see very well. What i did hear was very funny and the audience were really apreciating him.

I did, however, manage to get a couple of stalker-type photos of Arj when he came out to watch some of the other comedy acts later but he was still behind a barrier!! what was he afraid of? me perhaps! I didn't even get the chance to put on my newly painted flighty t-shirt


The festival was awesome with loads of great comedy acts and some good bands too including the legend that is Gary Newman and the Charlatans. Har Mar Superstar was a revelation and showed the crowd most of what he had got (in his little sweaty underpants).
