Jemaine's Eye Contact Empty Jemaine's Eye Contact

Anyone here experience Jemaine's eye contact during a performance? At a show, he locked eyes with me for so long that it felt awkward. Other girls have also mentioned their "
awkward eye contact"
with him. Is it a known Jemaine-ism? Something he does when he's in the zone performing?

I don't mean this to be an insult just an observation about him.
