Same!! He was SO good, this might be my favorite movie he's done that didn't involve Taika. He was just so personable and relatable. And I think the director knew exactly how to work with his trademark comedic delivery.

His chemistry with his on-screen daughters made me squee. He's so cute with them and you could tell they adored him.

Agreed. I'm not usually a romcom person, and really only followed this movie because I :#heart#: Jemaine, but I was pleasantly surprised by it (and, honestly, by him). It was as funny and charming as I hoped it would be, but a lot more thoughtful and melancholy than I expected. And Jemaine really delivered in a way that I don't think he's been required to in any other movie. I was really proud of him after I watched it! :#love3#: He was so good.

I think I might like this more than Eagle vs Shark, actually. :#shy#:
