Flight of the Conchords' fans who missed out on tickets have been given another chance to see the musical comedians, with the announcement today that they will play an extra Auckland show at Vector Arena.

Many fans missed out on tickets to a string of 10 regional concerts this week, after they sold out in minutes. Angry fans flooded social networking sites to voice their disappointment.

Promoters say that they are delighted with the level of interest shown in the scheduled performances.

We are extremely excited by the amount of interest shown in the Flight of the Conchords tickets across New Zealand,"
says co-promoter Brent Eccles. "
This really is going to be a special homecoming and now with the Arena show there will be tickets for everyone!"


Fellow co-promoter Stuart Clumpas adds that the Arena will be kitted out with big screens and extra speakers to ensure fans get the ultimate viewing experience.

It's great news that we have a Kiwi act whose popularity is such that they look capable of selling out Vector Arena,"
says Mr Clumpas. "
There will be big screens and extra speakers covering the whole arena to ensure everyone in the room gets the full Conchords experience."


Tickets are available (limit two per person) by application in person at the Vector Arena box office from 9am on Saturday 31st March, or from 1pm at ticketmaster.co.nz.

For Ticketmaster subscribers and Visa members there will also be a Visa pre-sale at 9am on Thursday 29th March and a Ticketmaster pre-sale at 9am on Friday 30th March, with all sales limited to four tickets per person.

Just saw Flight of the Conchords live, it was amazing! Costume changes, and Nigel the cellist + Alex on lighting, got a lot more attention than Bret and Jemaine were expecting :3 Incredibly funny night!!
