k so last night.. we arrived at cirkus at around 6.45pm and went straight to the merch booth, i bought two t-shirts (the too many dicks one and the new jet packs one) and a poster, and at around 7pm the doors opened and when we found our seats we squeed for a bit about how close to the stage we were arj came on at 7.30ish and he was absolutely amazing, i laughed so hard i was in tears. the atmosphere was really great and he mentioned that this was the last of their shows in scandinavia and that they'd saved the best for last after arj's set there was a 20 minute break and after that the guys came out and i nearly died. they started out with robots.

(it gets a little shaky at times since i had my eyes on the stage most of the time and didn't know what exactly i was recording)

then there was some banter and after that they introduced nigel to the stage and played the most beautiful girl. i recorded some other videos as well and will put them up later. it's taking ages to upload them to youtube and i'm impatient, sorry.

the new songs were fantastic, i'd refrained from watching any videos beforehand and was really pleasantly surprised demon woman was hysterical and i cried a little during bus driver's song since that's always been my favorite song of theirs and i was so happy to hear it live haha

i don't remember much since i was in a state of shock and on cloud nine for the for the entire evening (i still am..). i think/hope it'll all come back to me eventually " title="" border="0"/> but i do know it was an amazing evening, the audience was great and i feel so lucky to have seen them live. i never thought i'd get to and let alone in my own city!

I know how you feel about being on cloud 9 and not being able to remember much. That's how I was the first time I saw them. I still remember how I felt when they walked out on stage and were right in front of me. The entire night must have felt so surreal! Like a dream.

my eyes filled up several times during the night when i realized they were actually standing right in front of me, it was so surreal i had to remind myself where i was and what was happening, but i managed to hold the tears back. until they played bus driver's song that is

I did exactly the same thing the first time I saw the Conchords.

It was Bus Driver's Song at Red Rocks that really got me. I couldn't see any of that song for tears.

You were so close . It's interesting how non-UK gigs are different as the order of the songs is concerned and in general they seem to be... different .

I was doing fine during the shows but the break down got me when I was on my way back home. I couldn't stop crying for quite a while when I realized what I had just experienced and it was all over.
