[size=100:u633xlul]FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS star JEMAINE CLEMENT was in town yesterday to talk about his new film, GENTLEMEN BRONCOS and got sidelined by reporters asking about his quirky HBO series FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS. It appears that, after two seasons, he and stage partner BRET McKENZIE are calling the show quits.

He's keeping us on the edge of our seats. First we heard he'd have to be hypnotized to do the third season, now it's middle to slim, hard decision to make (yes/no decision?). Is he melting under the pressure and all this questioning?

The more relaxed he is, the softer he becomes. Let him have his danish with Bret and do whatever they feel doing and we let's just .



I'll understand 'no' decision. When I work hard doing something, even if it's fun and then I have some rest, when I remember what I've done, I don't want to go back to this job. Just want to do something else. I like changes.

But on the other hand, wouldn't be fantastic to have in 2-3 years time another bunch of great episodes to watch, along with the songs to play?

Yeah... On the one hand I completely understand them not wanting to do another season, but on the other, I'd be so excited to see something new.

Either way, we'll all be keeping track of them and loving whatever they do. Right? I know I will.

Read an article that said they were leaning more on the no because of family. They want to be there for their kids, and even though they can relocate the fam to NY when/or if they were to film.. Jem says its a lot of work.. and takes a lot of time away from the fam. So basically.. its the fam. And I can't hate on them for that.. it actually makes me love them more. I agree.. I would support them no matter what they decided to do.

I'm fine with there not being another season. . I do hope Bret and Jemaine will continue to do more band-related stuff together, though!

CLEMENT’s latest effort, GENTLEMEN BRONCOS, may be D.O.A. at the box office but the actor tells us that other projects are in the works. We sat down with CLEMENT recently and he talked about how doing television is much tougher than movies.
