Jemmy's Emmy nom

Guys, I just want you to know that

A. I will only call him "
Jemmy"
in Emmy discussions because otherwise...YIKES!

B. I am getting kind of tired of people who know I'm a huge fan of the guys saying, "
Wow....how awkward that Jemaine got nominated for an Emmy, but Bret didn't."


I don't really see it as awkward. Bret has always considered himself more of a musician, right? I'm sure he's more than pleased with the fact that Jemaine was nominated. UGH! People trying to create drama where drama does not belong!

Maybe his role in Eagle vs. Shark influenced this choice between them two?

From the outtakes from S2 I think that Bret was more professional and didn't crack up as often as "
Jemmy"

I noticed that, too. But I figured it was because his character has to be so serious all the time that it just bursts out of him sometimes.

I think he's got a very cheerful personality.

I don't think his laughing makes him unprofessional. I'm sure Jemmy is very professional... the roles he takes on out of FotC must take a certain amount of professioanlism. They're so out there... I would love to know the things he does to get into character. I've often wondered if he came up with Chevalier's accent all on his own or if he was coached. I also wonder if he ever stayed in character at all while not filming scenes... oh god, do I wonder how he practiced and what he did to prepare for that role!

I think I remember reading that he laughed a lot while filming GB. Please let there be outtakes!
