rhysiedarby Final show in Edinburgh went out with a bang... Smashed my set up, bent mike stand by bashing it through my prop door and kicked stereo."
LOL!
He was so rock 'n roll
He bashed the mic stand through the door a few times and it was really bent when he got it out! He initiall looked a bit worried and tried to straighten it then shrugged and said - 'I can afford it now'

Here are a few of my favourite moments from the show " title="" border="0"/>
1. The venue - it was pretty cool seeing a show inside an upside down purple cow. Plus there were only about 10 rows so everyone was really close " title="" border="0"/>
2. His Bill Napier bit was all new stuff (apart from the rapier bit).
I enjoyed him a lot more than I did on the DVD.
3. Stunt Cock Operator
4. Alien with exceptional abilities
5. Transformer/ robot >
-[o_o]-<
6. The UFOlogist character " title="" border="0"/> (especially when he slipped on the water he kicked over earlier) (and hiding when he licked the water off the floor )
7. The problems with voice recognition technology in the US.
'account balance' " title="" border="0"/> " title="" border="0"/> " title="" border="0"/>
8. The very rock and roll way he destroyed the stage at the end and the very gentle kick he gave to his stereo
At the start of the show he said it would be his last show in Edinburgh (possibly ever " title="" border="0"/>) and he finished the show by saying 'see you next year'
If he comes back I'll definitely be there

He was absolutely amazing!
He performed loads of new material and then wrecked the stage at the end because it's his final show (broke through the door and wrecked the mic stand )
I'm really rubbish at remembering jokes but I was like this --->
for most of the show.
Managed to get there early and had seats in the second row centre which was fantastic
So, anyway, Irene had made an amazing Loch Ness Monster and sent it to me to give to him.
Here follows a pictorial story of Nessies day in Edinburgh " title="" border="0"/>
1. Just arrived in Glasgow, getting ready to leave.
[/align:kar48tgn]
2. On the train to Edinburgh

[/align:kar48tgn]
3. Trying to get a better view out of my bag
[/align:kar48tgn]
4. Studying the safety notices on the train
[/align:kar48tgn]
5. Where Rhys would be performing T minus 5 hours

[/align:kar48tgn]
6. Eeeeeeeee!
[/align:kar48tgn]
7. Nessie finds her home

[/align:kar48tgn]
8. Recognise these?
[/align:kar48tgn]
9. Meeting her new owner for the first time

[/align:kar48tgn]
10.

[/align:kar48tgn]
I mentioned Irene's sheep dolls when I first met him and he was so excited!
When I told him I had something else that Irene had made he smiled so much
He was so so chuffed with the gift as you can see in the pics.
He absolutely loves Irene and said how much he loved the sheeple!
He called one of his friends over to make sure that he managed to videotape the doll " title="" border="0"/>
me right now

YAY! Go Laura, Irene's doll and Rhys!
Really glad all went well and that you enjoyed the show, Laura!
Loved those highlights at his London show too! Unfortunately we didn't witness him 'trashing' the stage, sounds awesome though!
It is! He referenced it again when I met him
