the first one is ricky gervais from the office...he's very big here in the UK, also did a show called "
extras"
, and the humour from the office is deadbeat like a lot of the conchords stuff...no singing tho!

yeah i think the office you have is the uk version of the one we have or vice versa

haha ours is the original version..i havent seen the american one, but apparently its pretty different humour - but it has steve carrel in it so it can't be that bad!

Well I've never heard of those shows.. I don't watch a lot TV lately so I don't know anything new...

Shows from the UK that I love are... Mr. Bean (not ashamed of that... I love Rowan Atkinson!), Are You Being Served? and Keeping Up Appearances.

Oh yeah and I've also been known to watch The Antiques Road Show from time to time lol

I love Mr. Bean and Are You Being Served?. For some reason it used to come on YTV(Canadian Youth Station) late at night. I loved Mrs. Slocombe and Mr Humphries! haha

re: rhys looking like ricky gervais and/or ron weasley, i think it's hilarious that you point that out, not only because you're right, but because i think he looks like a cross between two other people: the guy who plays principal rooney from ferris bueller's day off (http://www.80s.com/saveferris/images/ed/sly.jpg) and the guy who plays foster in super troopers (http://www.msu.edu/~mensing1/pics/SuperTroopers_coolchrism5.jpg - on the left;

and now for something completely different: best uk show ever is flying circus of course!

also re: british vs. us office, i've seen all of both and they're both laugh out loud funny. my personal preference is the us version, partially 'cause i'm an ignorant yank and can't understand the brits a lot of the time (thank goodness i don't have this problem with the nz accent!), partially 'cause rainn wilson (aka dwight) kills me with how funny he is, and partially because john krasinski (aka jim) is nearly as swoon-worthy as our nz homeboys " title="" border="0"/>
