NZ TV Guide Interview - March 2009

Jemaine: "Our fans are very into craft and one thing we were given were two knitted dolls that were sheep with our faces on them, which were adorable and we did an episode this season about our characters getting dolls which was inspired by that."

BM: We also talked about doing the safety video for Air New Zealand.

That would be awesome! Reminds me of how excited I was when I went to England the first time (roughly 11 years ago) and Ewan McGregor was the voice for the safety video on Virgin Atlantic.

just one thing to add, something I am curious about.
I wanted people's on opinions on whether they think the Bret and Jemaine dolls in the first episode were the "inspired" bit that Jemaine was referring to or if there might be something in one of the last three episodes.

I ask because in the interview Jemaine says they get dolls... not make them...
something small.. but it made me rethink what the shoutout in the series was.

Good point. He does make it sound like they were given the dolls in the episode. Maybe the sheeple are still to come? Either way, the fact that he mentioned them and loved them is beyond amazing.  

On the fanart thread we were talking about who is harder to draw. Some say Jem, I say Bret because he has less obvious characteristics (glasses and big lips are easy IMHO, almost like cheating!). The great thing about the sheeples Chickenkarma is that you totally nailed Bret (ahem), the spacing of the eyes (I mean dots) are perfect, it looks just like him.

CHRISTMAS at MURRAY'S?? That would be unreal.

Awww, those dolls are so adorable!!!

I would LOVE to see Christmas at Murray's! That would make Christmas like 50 times better than it already is!
