From what I remember, the deleted scenes are a bit different on US DVD. I'm converting those now. The file is much bigger than the outtakes one. I'll post that when it's finished.

Movie Review!! That means spoilers, ya'll!!! (But I think I am the only one who hadn't seen it yet haha)

I think I have to watch it again. " title="" border="0"/> I won't lie, I have some mixed feelings right now. At some points I remember thinking that this particular part wasn't very good. Like I didn't think this went well with the story (of course right now no specific part comes to mind :) Maybe now that I have completed watching it, it all ties in together better. Especially the stop motion animation with the apples!

Kinda going with the point above, I really liked how unpredictable it was!! The thing I despise most about romcoms today is how formulaic they have gotten. And this definitely broke through that box and I have to give props to that! It reminded me of a more depressing real, and more funny version of Napoleon Dynamite.

I also LOL'd A LOT. Omg. Sometimes it was the writing, or Jem's quirks, or his flatmate slithering like a snake, or Jarrod effing beating up a cripple! I think my favorite bit was when Lily was mad when she found out the truth about Jarrod's mom and suddenly she moves her head and its the guy and Jarrod's daughter and playing guitar and dancing!

I didn't approve of white!Taika. But I did approve of mustache!Taika in the blooper reel!! Gag reels are my favorite part of the special features, and this one was way too short. " title="" border="0"/>

Sometimes I just didn't like the character of Jarrod. I know in a way you weren't suppose to like him and he definitely wasn't suppose to be this perfect guy, but the compulsive lying and giant ego just got a bit too much. I wished they focused more on his daughter too. I want to know the full story and more on their relationship! :-/

You should watch it with the commentary sometime, Courtney. Both US and UK versions. (links to the UK version and special interview are somewhere in this thread and/or the download section, I think...)
